Things I've made: a scented RSVP

I mentioned my lovely friends last week, I received their invite on Wednesday and the RSVP deadline was Monday. I was never going to buy an RSVP card, I'll make one I thought. Ooh I'll embroider one. but how will I cover up the back? OOH I'll make an embroidered lavender bag RSVP. I must say it's a good job I don't always have to do that much work during my day job, because I spent two working days embroidering this thing.

I noticed some little hot air balloons on the invite so I carried the theme on. I tried to make the letters look like baskets, I think it worked?

After I designed the front I thought it felt kind of postcard-like, so I went with it.

I'm really quite proud of this, it's not perfect by any means but it's all me, the design, the handwriting, every last stitch. And my friends loved it, which is the most important thing by quite a long way.
