I have a lot to do, and I also have a lot of TV shows to watch, one of these things has to give in the run up to The Big Move next month. Unfortunately for me, the lots of things I have to do are essential and The Vampire Diaries is not (well it kind of is, but missing Damon Salvatore for a month isn't going to make me screw up anything important apparently).
With impeccable timing, I noticed Gala Darling tweeting about wanting to give up TV for April, I didn't have to give it a second thought, I'm so in.
I've long thought about the effects that watching telly has on my productivity, so what better time than now to tackle it?
Anyone else fancy giving it up? Or have you already given it up? Or did you never watch much TV to begin with?
I'm not a big TV watcher - every time I get into something it gets cancelled. Plus I get irrationally angry at adverts! I prefer a good book and my iPod/laptop to telly I think. Good luck with giving up TV my lovely.

It's a good idea! I loved not having a TV in my old flat and do resent having to have one a bit now I live with a man. I'm definitely more productive without it, although I do like sewing in front of the TV.

Depends what you call TV. I hardly watch linear scheduled TV anymore, but I like DVD films while I commute. And it doesn't stop me knitting...
