Life is slowly falling in to place.

Today marks three weeks since I've been in Canada. I've found it kind of hard to find my feet and settle in to a routine. Although I've been here many times before, I've always been on holiday, so I've been in automatic holiday mode since I've been here (with added errand running & bureaucracy). Yesterday I finally bought a car, it needs a little work so I'm not quite on the road yet but I'm hoping that once I am I can figure out what I'm doing and what shape my life should take.

I've been working on starting to craft again, and today I've been journalling, it's such a nice way to spend a few hours.

I've been hanging out on the porch with Milo, catching up on e-mails, trying to figure out some semblance of a routine, daydreaming, making plans and starting a journal.

Soon I shall get out of holiday mode, but not too soon.

A new venture

In the spirit of all my life changes, I registered a business yesterday, a photography business.

It's a step I've been thinking about for a while, and what better time than now?

Well, we're here

I'm afraid I only have photos of Milo so far.

We've been starting our mornings off right with a walk on the farm. It's pretty special to walk out of the house to this! Milo is definitely enjoying the space and the fresh air.

Milo still thinks he is a cat, and the window sill here is wide enough to sit on.

I've still got lots of 'life admin' to do, so it will be a little while before I settle back into a regular posting schedule.

Goodbye UK

Well, it's finally here. I'm sat at Heathrow (in Starbucks of course) waiting to go and board my flight to Canada.

I defeated my packing demons and came in at 1kg over my 69kg limit.

The pet transport company phoned me at 8am to let me know Milo has been checked in okay. I only dropped him off at 4pm yesterday but I miss him SO much, can't wait to see him.

Next time you hear from me I'll be living on a farm in Canada...until then.
